We strive to ensure our training prepares people with learning needs for the world of work. To offer vocational training that gives our students realistic opportunities to gain employment.
All of our training is delivered based on developing individual training plans for students to suit their learning needs. This tailors the learning experience to maximise the benefit for every individual student.
Students also work on acquiring nationally recognised OCN qualifications accredited by Agored Cymru (formerly OCN Wales) as well as building up portfolios of work experience and personal development ‘soft skills’ achievements.
Our training projects operate as small business enterprises in real work settings. Some examples are:

This makes our training very realistic with students applying their new skills in real-life work environments. Not only do they learn valuable skills, they go on to demonstrate them in realistic working businesses.
Vision 21 is in the process of developing its own supportive move on process for work ready students.
We will shortly be recruiting for our own move on advisor to work along side individuals within the TAM project who want the opportunity to prepare for move on opportunities such as volunteering, work experience or paid employment. These students will be referred to TAM by Vision 21 projects or outside referrers.
The Vision 21 Training and Mentoring project currently works with, and supports individuals who want the opportunity to move on. The project offers training for individuals to work on existing skills as well as to learn new skills. TAM works with students to prepare them for move on opportunities by means of peer mentoring, or by arranging volunteering or work experience placements.
The TAM move on advisor will work with supporting these individuals to identify a diverse range of opportunities and to agree realistic move on targets. Individuals will also be advised on the following:
