Following on from our successful Summer Schemes over the last few years, Vision 21 has again been awarded funding to extend opportunities for young people with learning disabilities during the summer, and particularly to highlight the choices these young people face as they prepare to move on from school/college.
There are 40 places available to students aged 14 to 21 years during the period 19th July 2010 to 27th August 2010. Priority will be given to those students who have not attended Vision 21 before. Each individual can access a maximum of 5 days, 1 day per week in the project of their choice and if they require their taxi transport will also be provided free of charge.
Please note that we will not be able to provide 1:1 support for individuals with high support needs e.g. challenging behaviour or personal care support.
Please find the referral form Summer Scheme flyer here.
Referral forms need to be completed and returned to Theresa Wood at our Fieldway office as soon as possible - we know from previous years that the scheme is very popular and spaces fill up quickly. More information about our organisation is available on our website www.vision-twentyone.com or if you have any questions please contact Theresa.
