> Its here - the Vision 21 Summer Scheme 2007!
Following on from the successful Summer Schemes of 2004, 2005 and 2006, Vision 21 has again been awarded funding by BBC Children in Need and The Charitable Equitable Trust to extend opportunities for young people with learning disabilities during the summer, and particularly to highlight the choices these young people face as they prepare to move on from school/college.
Its here - the Vision 21 Summer Scheme 2007!
There are 30 places available to students aged 14 – 21, on a first come first served basis during the period 23rd July 2007 to 31st August 2007. Each individual can access a maximum of 5 days, 1 day per week in the project of their choice and if they live in the Cardiff area their taxi transport will also be provided free of charge. We are particularly targeting young people with borderline learning disabilities who have not attended Vision 21 projects before, but we will also consider others. Please note that we will not be able to provide 1:1 support for individuals with high support needs e.g. challenging behaviour or personal care support.
Our projects participating in the Scheme are:

Catering - Fieldway Kitchen
Pottery - Fairwater Pottery
Woodwork - Fieldway and Skomer Workshops
