How to refer someone to access our services.
Gift shop
Our gift shop showcases and sells the quality products produced in our workshops.
We also sell other carefully chosen products to offer an extensive range of goods including:
- unique ceramics for home and garden
- hand crafted gifts and garden furniture made from recycled timber
- jewellery
- greeting cards and gift wrap.
The environment is friendly and supportive providing students an ideal opportunity to develop confident retail skills. We emphasise empowerment, encouraging students to think for themselves and make decisions.
Training and accreditation
Those who may benefit start with some initial ‘taster’ sessions. If these go well students can attend a workshop for one or two days per week, occasionally more if appropriate.
An Individual Training Plan (ITP) is developed for each student, this includes skills such as:
- serving customers and taking cash
- labelling goods for sale
- restocking shelves and other product display areas
- assisting in cashing-up, record keeping and banking.
