Conservatory Tea Rooms at Belle Vue Park

Situated in the Pavilion building, in the wonderful location of Belle Vue Park on the outskirts of Newport, the beautifully restored Conservatory Tea Room offers catering and retail training. The training helps students to develop both social and customer care skills, at the same time as providing a service to the community.

The Tea Rooms are popular with local residents as well as the many people who visit this beautiful park with its walkways bordered by wonderful mature specimen trees.

The food is prepared in our own kitchen by students undergoing training in catering skills. The Tea Rooms serve light refreshments throughout the day including freshly made sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and soup of the day as well as delicious fresh cakes, ice creams and afternoon teas.

Opening times are:

Weekdays: 10am to 4pm
Weekends: 11am to 5pm

Students learn to prepare food, use equipment and serve customers as well as gaining experience of basic retail skills.
